The personal aspect of this blog is the taste in subject matter. I want to put up a little slice of my thought process. The title came from my co-worker who said watching me websurfing was like pbs on speed. I pop from one thing to another, like a dilettante with ADD.

Firefly
I never saw the show Firefly when it was on the air, but this past weekend I watched the entire series on DVD. I don't think it would have become a huge hit, but it could do very well on the sci-fi channel. A tidbit on the Heretical Ideas blog brought the show to mind:
Speaking of gunning for jobs, since Bryan Singer is going to be doing the new Superman movie, that's left quite the gaping hole for X-Men fans. Apparently, though, Joss Whedon of Buffy, Angel and Firefly fame is gunning to direct X-Men 3. Cool by me--and let him write the thing, too!
I popped over to IMDB.COM to check out the tv show background, and found they are making a full-length movie out of it called Serenity.
